Jordan's General Persecutor issued an arrest warrant against the Jordanian Islamic preacher Amjad Qourshah after posting a video on YouTube criticizing Jordan's participation in the international coalition, according to The Jordan Word.
In the video, Qourshah urged the people of Jordan and the Jordanian Army to rethink the war against Daesh and other militant organizations operating in Iraq and Syria.
His comments included calling the Assad regime "infidels" after which he urged people to support Nusra Front whom he described as "not a threat to Jordan" but whom he claimed are "combating the infidel Syrian regime."
Qourshah stated that the Hashemite Kingdom had more urgent concerns than fighting Daesh such as "drugs, the arms trade and car theft."
In his video Qourshah added that the US "tricked" Jordan into a war "it had nothing in it" and in which Muslim women and children are killed by coalition airstrikes in Syria and Iraq.
