Jordanian-Egyptian Leaders to Hold Summit in Aqaba Tueday

Egypt’s President Hosni Mubarak and Jordan’s King Abdullah will hold talks Tuesday in Aqaba on the latest developments in the Middle East, and US Secretary of State Collin Powell’s visit to the region, reported the Arabic daily Ad-Dustour. 

Powell’s meetings with both leaders focused on the Israeli-Palestinian crisis and the latest development in Iraq following the US airstrikes on Baghdad.  

The daily added that both leaders will also discuss preparations for the upcoming Arab summit that will be held in Amman on March 27th – Albawaba.com
