King Abdullah II of Jordan on Sunday said an internationally-backed "roadmap" for peace between Israelis and Palestinians must be announced after Israeli elections, which are due to take place on January 28.
The Jordanian king made the remarks in the course of talks with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Sultanov on the Middle East crisis and Iraq, according to Petra news agency.
They both "insisted on the need to announce the roadmap after the Israeli elections so that we can start implementing its points and pave the way for an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land," the news agency added. (Albawaba.com)
