Jordanian man stabbed in Israel

According to Al-Ghad, a Jordanian citizen was stabbed by an Israeli in Eilat during a dispute.

Israeli police released a statement that the two men were arguing over a long-standing disagreement when the Jordanian threatened the Israeli with a knife. The Israeli man and people nearby attacked the Jordanian, turning the knife on him.

The Jordanian man was rushed to a nearby hospital and is under arrest while the investigation into the incident continues. The man is expected to recover. 

Eilat is a coastal town in the south of Israel, accessible for Jordanians by the Aqaba border crossing.
