Jordan's national carrier Royal Jordanian has imposed a $5 surcharge on tickets as of October 1, and that the airline may hold joint flights with Bahrain’s Gulf Air, the director of the airline Samer Majali told the official Petra news agency Wednesday.
According to AFP, The increase is aimed at covering higher insurance premiums following the September 11 attacks in New York and Washington.
