Al-Ghad reports that Amman security forces stopped five youths from jumping to their deaths from a building in Duwwar Al Dakhileyyeh.

A source for Al-Ghad confirmed that the youths were unemployed and wanted their suicide attempt to draw attention to the lack of job opportunities.

The five youths were apprehended by security forces before they could carry out their attempt.

They have been transferred to the nearby police station for questioning.

The building that the five young men jumped from is informally known as "the suicide building" after multiple people have used the location to attempt to end their lives.
