Jordan's King Abdullah II, left Amman on Tuesday heading for Kuwait on a brief visit during which he will hold talks with the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah
and top Kuwaiti officials, Petra reported.
The talks are expected to focus on ways of promoting bilateral ties in the economic and political fields, as well as the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and Iraq.
Abdullah was accompanied by the prime minister, the King's
advisor for security issues, director of the Intelligence Department and rapporteur of the State Security Council, minister of the Royal Hashemite Court as well as the foreign minister.
