Juman Group, one of Jordan’s leading PR and advertising firms, recently organized a four-day trip for members of the local press to the luxurious Taba Heights Resort on May 20th of 2010. The trip, which was conducted in cooperation with Egypt-based Orascom Development, comes to emphasize the group’s commitment to Jordanian media as a crucial force in raising awareness and promoting change in society. The first to be made this year, the press visit also aims to spotlight Taba Heights as the premier, year-round holiday destination in the MENA region.
“As a business in media and communication, we know the value of objective and responsible journalism,” said Ahmad Ibrahim, Juman Group’s co-founder and managing director. “It is amazing how Jordan’s media has progressed, and how it has been a bedrock to social and economic development,” he added. The guests-journalists, in turn, expressed their appreciation for the efforts of Juman in connecting with the local media, noting that the trip was well-run and very organized.
Transportation to and from the city of Taba was provided by the Sindibad Company aboard its ultra-exclusive yachts. The stay was at the Intercontinental Hotel, one of the resort’s five-star spots. Guests were entertained by a range of activities on sea and land including: island cruises, diving, windsurfing, camel rides, water skiing, jet skiing, parasailng, snorkeling and the squad safari.
Established in 2009, Juman Group offers extensive services in marketing, advertising, and public relations. From the testimony of many, the company has been able to transform the national communications platform with capabilities for emerging and established businesses alike, towards a fresh and positive start.
