The group reiterates its commitment towards the development of UAE nationals by participating in the UAE Careers 2007 which took place from 13-15 March, 2007. The Kanoo Group stand was located at Z-K5, Zabeel Hall, Dubai International Exhibition Centre.
The Kanoo Group believes in a proactive policy of promoting local talent within its divisions as the UAE nationals possesses great skills and dedication to effectively demonstrate that they are the driving force to the country’s development and the future of the UAE.
Through their participation in the UAE Careers 2007, The Kanoo Group highlighted job opportunities in the various divisions in the company by showcasing its diverse business portfolio. Brochures containing background information about the Group, divisions and its principals, along with application forms, were made available. Representatives from the company’s various divisions were also present to support and advice potential candidates.
“We attended this year’s Careers UAE Fair with an open mind in so far as what we wanted to achieve and gain by participating. We have received hundreds of CV's and completed forms, as well as, interviewed many UAE nationals during Fair. We, at HR believe that we have had a successful three days and look forward interviewing more nationals in the weeks to come.” concludes Vorster.
