Kate Winslet is currently undertaking various negotiations with the Egyptian movie industry. The Titanic star is looking into the possibility of starring in an Egyptian movie as well as attending the upcoming Cairo Film Festival, reported Al Masa’ newspaper.
Winslet has started talking to Egyptian actor/director Youssef Mansour about starring in his latest movie, to be named at a later time. Mansour has already cast acclaimed actors Ahmad Ramzi and Hassan Husni in supporting roles.
Meanwhile, renowned actor and chairman of the Cairo Film Festival, Hussein Fahmi, has started his negotiation crusade with Winslet and her Titanic co-star Leonardo DiCaprio in order to convince the stars to attend this year’s festivities.
The invitation comes in light of this year’s theme of Romance; However, neither of the two stars answered to Fahmi’s request – Albawaba.com.
