Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates took part in one of the UAE’s biggest recycling drives. The Emirates Environmental Group’s (EEG) Can Collection Drive Competition encouraged major businesses to collect all aluminium cans utilised within their premises and donate them to this important cause; working towards a better tomorrow, plus the chance to win great prizes for their efforts.
And today, all donated cans from all over the UAE were calculated and the final weight announced, organisers were hopeful of beating last years amazing record of 12,350 kilograms, and were overwhelmed by the total amount donated this year was 18,000 kilograms, which is an outstanding result and a new record.
