Yemeni Foreign Minister Khaled al-Yamani has denounced Hezbollah’s interference in the war in Yemen in a letter he sent to his Lebanese counterpart Gebran Bassil, according to local news channel Future TV.

In the letter, said to be dated July 8, Yamani warned that his country would bring up the issue at Arab and international forums, according to a Future TV report Wednesday.

A source at the Foreign Ministry said that the ministry has yet to officially receive any such letter, neither confirming nor denying its existence.

“I regret to point out Hezbollah’s [abandonment] of the brotherly approach between Yemen and Lebanon and its transgression of the solid and firm relationship [between the two],” Yamani reportedly wrote.

Yemen's government and its Gulf partners have long accused Hezbollah and its ally Iran of interfering in Yemen’s war by backing Houthi rebels there.

Future TV reported that Yamani also wrote in the letter that Hezbollah participated in training the Houthi rebels and assisted in planning, inciting and supporting them.
