ALBAWABA - In a statement, Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, denounced Israel, saying that his nation is too small to seriously impair Hezbollah's robust organization. Following Israel's declaration that Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah had died in an attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut, he made these statements.

Khamenei underlined that Hezbollah and other resistance forces control the region's future and said that all regional resistance organizations are unified in their support of the organization.

"Israel has not learnt from its illegal assault on Gaza, which lasted for a year and resulted in the mass murder of people, women, and children, but did not deter the resistance. Khamenei said, "They are foolishly attempting the same strategy in Lebanon right now." He urged Muslims everywhere to stand with Hezbollah and the Lebanese people in their struggle against a "usurping and evil entity."

Late on Friday, Hezbollah formally acknowledged that its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, had perished in Israeli bombings that went for the party's central headquarters located in the southern neighborhood of Beirut.

The Israeli military has been in full offensive mode against Lebanon since September 23, the most since its war with Hezbollah started over a year ago. As on Saturday morning, Anadolu's data shows 2,312 injuries and 783 deaths, including those involving women and children.

Hezbollah is still firing hundreds of rockets against Israeli military installations, towns, and cities, even extending as far as Tel Aviv. Observers claim that Israel is strictly prohibiting media coverage of the strikes' fatalities and damage.

Hezbollah and other Lebanese and Palestinian groups have been exchanging gunfire with Israeli soldiers every day across the "Blue Line" since October 8. Hundreds have died as a consequence of this, mostly on the Lebanese side.

Amidst extensive damage and starvation, these forces are calling for an end to Israel's U.S.-backed assault on Gaza, which started on October 7, 2023, and has resulted in over 137,000 Palestinian fatalities and injuries—mostly women and children—as well as over 10,000 reported missing.
