Iranian President, Mohammad Khatami promised Tuesday during a landmark visit to Kabul that Iran would arrest al-Qaeda militants and stay out of Afghanistan's internal affairs.
Upon his return to Tehran Tuesday night, Khatami pronounced the visit a success. Khatami told reporters the trip had "achieved its objectives" and praised Kharzai's "goodwill." (Albawaba.com)
