Jordan's King Abdullah On Monday opened the 14th parliament's first ordinary session and delivered a speech, detailing his vision and plan of action for the newly appointed government.
He reiterated his commitment to change and development,
to take initiative unwaveringly, whatever the difficulties, so that "Jordan's roots continue to be firmly established."
The King wished the parliament to be a legislative chamber that distinguishes itself in its performance, and a source to which the government refers for assistance when it works out its plans and national programs.
