As part of the Ministry of Education’s top achievers program supported by Nissan Middle East and endorsed by Alhamrani United Company (AUC), the sole Distributor of Nissan and INFINITI vehicles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the high school graduate Ahmad Mamdooh Mukhtar Mursi from Jeddah received a Nissan Sunny for his outstanding academic achievements during the year.
AUC, Nissan Middle East and the Ministry of Education joined hands to support this national program, help motivate the Kingdom’s top achievers and to enhance the competition between students.
“We appreciate Nissan’s initiative to partner with the Kingdom’s Ministry of Education to help grant top achieving students a reward for their efforts,” said an official from the awards committee. “We realize that these students are the future of this nation and with the support of companies like Nissan Middle East we can make our program a resounding success for years to come.”
Takeshi Nakajima, Deputy Managing Director at Nissan Middle East, further commented on this collaboration: “As part of Nissan’s ethics and corporate citizenship initiatives we are always eager to support the Ministry of Education’s achievement program. We recognize the fact that a strong education is the building block for a nation and we wholeheartedly support the Ministry of Education’s top achievers initiative.”
Sheikh Ahmad Alhamrani, V.P. National Marketing, Import & Distribution at AUC commented: “Dealing with the firmly established and ever-developing brand Nissan further emphasizes our commitment to our society and promotes our increasing responsibility in our market. We are glad to contribute and encourage every effort made to enhance the living standards of our society.”
The winner, Ahmad Mursi from King Abdulaziz High School in Al Namas district, south of Jeddah, was awarded a brand new Nissan Sunny for his academic achievements during the course of the year. “I was extremely pleased when I was awarded among the top achievers and more so when I heard Nissan was giving me a Sunny in recognition of my efforts. This is truly spectacular, thanks to Nissan, a brand that has a long heritage in Saudi Arabia and an ever growing base of fans from all generations”, commented Ahmad.
