Pete Sampras' seventh Wimbledon singles title win Sunday has hoisted him up the rankings from 10th to third.
Sampras, winning the third of the year's Grand Slam events, has 457 points, nearly one hundred points more than long-time rival Andre Agassi, who went out in the Wimbledon semifinals, and now holds fourth position.
The losing finalist at Wimbledon, Australian Pat Rafter, moved up from 52nd place to 13th - (AFP)
