The Kuwaiti ambassador to Egypt, Ahmad Khalid Al Kulaib, on Tuesday praised the two nations' strong bilateral relations, calling them an example for other countries in the Arab World, according to the official Kuwaiti news agency (KUNA).
According to the agency, at a seminar organized by the Kuwaiti-Egyptian friendship society to mark the anniversary of the 1973 October War, Kulaib said that the war had brought the two countries closer, as Kuwait had sent its forces to fight alongside the Egyptians to liberate Arab lands.
Egypt did the same during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990-1991, he added – Albawaba.com
