Kuwaiti Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Suleiman Shaheen, said Monday that the Egyptian-Kuwaiti ties were continuously developing, noting the joint cooperation committee will meet early next year, reported Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

Shaheen, speaking after meeting Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa, told KUNA the talks covered bilateral ties and the results of the Arab foreign minister meeting, including the Jerusalem issue and the mechanism for holding the Arab summit.

He said that Egypt will call for an Arab foreign ministers meeting next October to put the last touches on the means to implement the decision of a five-way committee assigned to work out a mechanism to hold the Arab summit, added KUNA.

The decision on holding the Arab summit regularly will be in conformity with the Arab league charter after all legal conditions are met through the holding of an Arab summit that will be agreed later, according to KUNA - Albawaba.com
