After a six year hiatus, Kuwait has executed three people. All convicted of murder, a Saudi, Pakistani and Bidoon (stateless person) were hanged at Kuwait City's central prison, according to state media agency KUNA.
Although severeal death sentences have been handed out over recent years, this is the first time they will be implemented by the state.
The Pakistani was sentenced to death for killing a Kuwaiti couple, the Saudi for killing his friend, whilst the Bidoon was convicted for murdering his wife and children.
