Kuwait is preparing to import natural gas from Iran and Qatar, Middle East Newsline (MENL) reported.
Gulf officials were quoted by the agency as saying that “Kuwait is close to completing an agreement for the import of up to one billion cubic feet a day of natural gas from Doha.”
Kuwaiti Oil Minister Adel Subaih said the natural gas would be used to power generating stations in the emirate, MENL said.
Officials said a contract for the natural gas could be ready for signing over the next few months – Albawaba.com
