The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) was evacuated on Tuesday after a bomb alert that turned out to be a hoax, KSE director general Abdullah al-Sederawi said.
The KSE building in the heart of Kuwait City was evacuated for a period of 30 minutes as a bomb squad searched the premises after a phone call claiming a bomb had been left inside, Sederawi told AFP. "It was a false alert, they found nothing. All transactions were kept on the computer" and trading was not disrupted, he added. (Albawaba.com)
