Kuwait’s Army Chief of Staff General Ali Mohammed al-Momen met in Amman Sunday with Jordan’s Prime Minister Ali Abu Ragheb for talks on bilateral ties in the military field and other issues of common concern, reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Al-Momen arrived in Jordan Saturday on a three-day official visit, said SPA.
He met earlier with his Jordanian counterpart General Mohammed Malkawi for talks on bilateral defense cooperation, said the agency.
Jordanian embassy in Kuwait was reopened in 1999, after the relations were cut off nine years earlier during the Gulf crisis for what Kuwait saw as a pro-Iraqi stand on the part of the kingdom – Albawaba.com
