Kuwaiti Foreign Minister receives message from Egyptian counterpart

Kuwaiti Minister of state for foreign affairs Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah received on Wednesday the Egyptian ambassador Wagdy Abouzeid, who was accompanied by the Archbishop of the holy land, gulf and near east Dr. Abraham and the pastor of the Egyptian church in Kuwait Father Siofan.  

 

Ambassador Abouzeid handed a message to Sheikh Mohammed from his Egyptian counterpart, Ahmad Maher al-Sayed, according to KUNA.  

 

Dr. Abraham, on his part, praised Kuwait as a country which enjoys, “religious tolerance” and “freedom of religion”.  

 

The meeting was attended by the director of the Arab nation department ambassador Sulaiman Salem al-Fassam and the director of Sheikh Mohammed's office Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser al-Mohammed al-Sabah.  

 

Sheikh Mohammed al-Sabah also met with the chairman of the Lebanese journalists association Melhem Karam accompanied by Elias Oun and Essa Dajani. In the course of the meeting, “common Arab” matters had been reviewed. (albawaba.com)
