Kuwaiti Plans New Charity Projects in Egypt

Kuwait’s minister of justice, Ahmad Yaqub Baqir announced Tuesday that he will inaugurate more Kuwaiti Charity Projects in Egypt during his two-day visit. 

The visiting minister, who is heading the Kuwaiti delegation in the Arab justice ministers meeting, told the Kuwaiti news agency (KUNA) that these projects would be supervised by the Kuwait Charity Projects office in Egypt. 

The projects, which will be implemented in Cairo, Alexandria and Aswan will vary from mosques, health and cultural centers. 

According to the agency, the minister will also place a medical center's corner stone for kidney center. 

New projects to be opened in Alexandria will include a maternity and women's health hospital in addition to the one class school for the illiterate, KUNA said. 

The minister described these projects as “means of strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.” 

The Arab justice ministers will discuss in their meeting the international agreement on fighting organized crime across national borders and will try to coordinate the Arab stance on combating terrorism.  

And they will endorse several unified guiding draft laws, such as the Unified Arab Law on juveniles – Albawaba.com
