Lagos governor Bola Tinubu has lifted a dusk-to-dawn curfew imposed on a troubled district where recent ethnic clashes left more than 100 people dead, officials said Saturday.
The curfew was announced on October 16 on Ajegunle, a Lagos slum, following the violence between ethnic Yoruba from the southwest and Hausa from the north.
On Friday, Governor Tinubu lifted the curfew "following the return of peace in the area," his office told AFP in Lagos.
