President Emile Lahoud said Wednesday Lebanon will not "bend to pressures" aimed at imposing a security formula in southern Lebanon protecting Israel, Beirut (AFP)
"Lebanon will not bend to pressures aimed at finding a security formula to reassure Israel in the south," Lahoud told a cabinet meeting.
Lahoud said Lebanon will not agree to bow to pressures "at the expense of our national interests in regard to continuing to liberate the land and allow the refugees to return home." – (AFP)
