Lebanese President Emile Lahoud will start an official two-day visit to Tunisia on Wednesday at the invitation of his Tunisian counterpart, Zein El Abideen Ben Ali, reported the Daily Star newspaper.
Lahoud is accompanied on this visit by first lady Andree Lahoud, Deputy Premier Issam Fares, Surete Generale director general Jamil Sayyed, and Lebanonese Ambassador to Tunisia Raymond Roufayel.
Lahoud is scheduled to meet with Ben Ali and later with Tunisian Speaker Fouad Mubazeh.
The upcoming Francophone Summit, due to be held in Lebanon in October, is expected be a major topic of discussion, said the paper - Albawaba.com
