A land mine blew off the right leg of a Lebanese villager Sunday near the border with Israel, a Lebanese security official said.
34-year-old Sami Shaheen was transferred by a U.N. helicopter to the Hammoud Hospital in Sidon south of Beirut for treatment. His condition was described as serious but stable. (Albawaba.com)
