Leading Science Company Supports Egypt’s Young Scientists
DuPont’s Building Innovations Leader in Egypt and NA Participates in Awareness Lectures at local universities
DuPont, the internationally-renowned science company, continues its ongoing support to young scientists through its contribution to Nahdet El Mahrousa's Young Innovators’ Awards (YIA). DuPont’s Building Innovations Leader in Egypt and North Africa, Mr. Antoine Rizkallah, participated in the first session of lecture series and addressed the students of Ain Shams University on November 25, and Cairo University on December 1st. Mr. Rizkallah gave an informative presentation of DuPont's construction materials and building innovations portfolio allowing the Egyptian students to develop their academic skills and understand the market’s needs.
“Our involvement in the YIA project matches our goal to increase the number and quality of future scientists by providing them with the knowledge and tools necessary for their success. We look forward to taking part in the activities organized by Nahdet el Mahrousa to implement its YIA project aiming at enriching and promoting Egypt’s scientific culture,” said Antoine Rizkallah, DuPont Building Innovations - Egypt and NA Leader.
The Awareness Lectures are the first step to encourage students to participate in the YIA’s annual competition aiming at nominating 7 award winners who will be granted research grants to fulfill their graduation projects. DuPont's participation in the lectures marks the company’s initial involvement in many active contributions towards the project since the signing of the agreement last September. DuPont’s support to the YIA furthers the global company's drive to create sustainable solutions essential to a better, safer, and healthier life for people everywhere.
