At least 22 people were killed and over 110 others injured in an explosion of a tanker carrying fuel Thursday in Riyadh, reported the Al-Arabiya TV channel. The truck hit a bridge before it blew up.
An industrial building located not far from the site of the explosion was almost completely destroyed, witnesses said. Several cars were also destroyed.
Several helicopters from the Saudi civil defense were seen flying over the explosion site.
