At least ten killed and nearly 500 injured in Egypt violence

Clashes across Egypt after Mohamed Morsi's removal from power by the army on Wednesday killed ten and injured 481, Health Minister Mohamed Mustafa Hamed has announced.

Of the injured, 158 are still receiving treatment in hospitals across 17 governorates.

Hamed mentioned that three died in Minya governorate, four in Matrouh and one in Alexandria.

Clashes erupted between supporters and opponents of Mohamed Morsi after he was removed from power by the Egyptian army following mass protests against his rule.
