The Lebanese army arrested 59 Syrians in north Lebanon Sunday, the state-run National News Agency reported.
The arrests came during raids by the army on refugee settlements in the Akkar town of Jabal Akroum.
The Syrians were arrested for lack of identification papers, according to NNA.
Troops also seized 29 unregistered motorcycles.
Last month, the army arrested 23 Syrian nationals in east and north Lebanon, mostly for lacking identification papers, the military said in a statement.
