The Lebanese Army seized a large quantity of hash and several assault weapons in a raid on a Baalbeck home Tuesday night, an Army statement said.

The raid targeted the home of a number of wanted men in the region’s Hor Taala village, the Army said.

The Army seized two Kalashnikov-type assault rifles, a quantity of light ammunition, 32 kilograms of processed hash, 2 kilograms of unprocessed hash and 1 kilogram of captagon, in addition to other “narcotic substances.”

The Army also seized a quantity of foreign currency, various types of military equipment, two motorcycles and a BMW X-5 car that had no legal papers.

The Army did not say whether the men had been arrested.
