Lebanese Foreign Minister to visit Iran

Iran's Ambassador to Lebanon, Masoud Edrisi said in Beirut on Monday that in the course of a meeting with Lebanon's Foreign Minister Mahmoud Hamoud in Beirut that day, he discussed the Lebanese Minister’s forthcoming visit to Tehran.  

 

Speaking at a press conference, he added, "Lebanon's foreign minister announced his readiness to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran and exchange views with Iranian officials on issues of mutual interest and the events in the Middle East."  

 

However, he didn't provide specifics on the date for the Lebanese foreign minister's visit, according to IRNA.  

 

The Iranian ambassador said that the latest developments in Iraq and Palestine were also among the issues which were discussed during the meeting. (Albawaba.com)
