Lebanon’s Minister of Interior, Elias Al-Murr, in Beirut, has stressed the significance of the strategic brotherly relations between Presidents Bashar al-Assad and Emile Lahoud and the leaderships of both countries, which are based, according to him, on mutual confidence.
In a statement to the Lebanese Al-Safir issued on Monday, and quoted by SANA, the Lebanese Minister emphasized that Syrian-Lebanese relations are normal, historic and geographic, in the interest of both brotherly countries.
Al-Murr, the statement added, noted that Lebanon’s partnership with Syria on the regional level is in the interest of Lebanon and prevents its weakness. (Albawaba.com)
