A prisoner swap is "imminent" and will take place in the next few days, Beirut's Daily Star reported Wednesday, citing a Lebanese government source.
The source said Hizbullah resistance group would release four Israelis it is holding in return for 19 Lebanese detainees held in Israeli prisons, including three that Israel had refused to account for previously.
In addition, a small number of Palestinian prisoners would be released, and Israel would also turn over the remains of several Lebanese fighters, the report added.
The same source stated that the prisoner exchange should be concluded by the first week of September. (Albawaba.com)
