The Lebanese army arrested an alleged ISIS [Daesh] security official on the northeastern border Tuesday, a security source told The Daily Star.
The source said Ibrahim Atrash was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the border town of Arsal after being monitored by the army for a week.
The arrest came after confessions made by his uncle, Omar Atrash, who was arrested in 2014 over alleged links to bomb attacks which targeted Beirut's southern suburbs, the source added.
