Some 311 people charged with crimes ranging from petty theft to drug trafficking have been arrested in recent weeks in Lebanon, the interior ministry said Wednesday. According to a ministry statement, cited by the Daily Star, the arrests included seventeen drug dealers and three addicts, while six were arrested on charges of counterfeiting.
The charges also include counterfeiting, forgery, car theft, embezzling, impersonating an officer and homicide, it said - Albawaba.com
