Police Tuesday raided a hash processing plant in east Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, seizing 200kg of dope and arresting five Syrian nationals.
An Internal Security Forces statement said that a police unit raided a 250 sq meter factory Tuesday morning in the town of Brital used in hash production which is owned by Lebanese fugitive Aa.A., who security forces are searching for.
It said that the unit seized several other tons of drugs that were ready to be sold, and destroyed a large amount of them, as well as seizing six manufacturing machines.
The five Syrian nationals arrested in the raid were identified only by their initials M.K., J.Kh., T.M., M.M. and M.M.
