Lebanon and Kuwait on Tuesday signed a cultural cooperation agreement during a visit to Kuwait by Lebanon’s Culture Minister Ghassan Salameh, reported the Daily Star newspaper.
The agreement stipulates cooperation in artistic exhibitions, festivals, book fairs and heritage issues.
Salameh also discussed the possibility of financing cultural projects in Beirut with the Kuwait-based Arab Fund for Economic Development.
Such projects include the renovation of historic Mamluk sites in Tripoli and the rehabilitation of the Lebanese University’s Law Faculty, said the paper – Albawaba.com
