An explosion hit a bus carrying Lebanese troops in the city of Tripoli in the north of Lebanon on Monday, witnesses and media said. According to the National News Agency, five people were killed and 17 were hurt in the bombing at Bahsas at the southern entrance of Tripoli during the morning rush hour.
Last month, a bomb blast hit a bus in the city, killing 15 people including 10 soldiers.
