Upcoming songstress Leila Ghufran has just wrapped up the shoot on her latest video clip Saat Al Zaman (The Watch of Time) in Egypt and will be releasing it soon.
The song, written by Salah Fayez and composed by Ali Suleiman is one of 8 in the album that holds the same name.
In producing her latest album, Laila collaborated with various poets and composers including her first time with Mohammad Daia, who composed three of the songs.
Daia made music for Kul Shei (Everything), written by Tarek Abdul Satar, Mashhad Widaa (A Scene of Goodbyes), written by Ahmad Hassan and Khafifa (Light) by Baha Eddine Mohammad.
Salah El Sharnoubi, Issam Karika and Hassan Dina composed the rest of the songs on the album.
Within her social circle, Leila has been known to perform covers of the late mega-star Abdul Halim Hafez.
Some of the songs she covered were Jabar (Tyrant), Hubak Nar (Your Love is Fire) and Kamel Awsaf (Perfect)-Albawaba.com.
