LG Air Conditioning Academy, the First of its Kind in the Middle East

As a commitment to the promises that Mr. Young Nam (LG's Global CEO) has given to King Abdullah II, and stemming from its keenness to fulfill the social commitment, and to further enhance its social role in the local community and the Levant, LG Electronics (Regional Office), the global leader and technology innovator, Inaugurated in April 2010 LG Air Conditioning Academy in Amman.

The Academy aims at providing professional experiences and training courses that should enhance the standards of learning on the part of Jordanian and regional workforces.

LG AC Academy is the first in the Middle East, fully equipped with the latest LG AC systems, along with solar systems, lighting systems, networks and control solutions; it is established to prepare professional systematic training courses for mechanical and electrical engineers from different industries.

Since its inception in April this year, around 100 engineers were trained on LG's latest HVAC systems. LG has organized, within its training schedule, 10 training courses in different fields ,starting from general basic courses for HVAC , going through specialized courses for MultiV VFR Systems (design, technical installation and service), up to specialized courses in LG Chillers, Air Handling Units, photovoltaic cells, lighting systems, control and networking Systems.

LG's AC Technical Manager, Engineer Hussam Ebbini said, "LG is always committed to its educational responsibilities, among others, and known to deliver on its promises".

"LG AC Academy will help in creating a well educated and trained workforce, by providing professional training services, and developing the youth skills and experiences in the technical fields. LG AC Academy has many future plans that will help achieve its vision through different educational programs which will be announced at later stage" he added.
