Within the framework of 13th anniversary celebrations, the daily newspaper “Liberte” has organized a unique three-stage football tournament, which consists of Algeria’s major media organizations.
The tournament includes eight teams, each representing a different media organization, divided into two groups: Liberte itself, APS, Le Soir d'Algérie and la Maison de la Presse play in Group “A”, and El Moudjahid, le Club de la Presse, Horizons and El-Watan play in Group “B”.
<i>El Moudjahid</i> reports that following the first round of games, which was held on Sunday, the next rounds of games are scheduled to take place on June 4 - the semi-finals. The final will be played on June 8.
