Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi said Wednesday a message from the Libyan government on the fate of Imam Mussa Sadr, who went missing on a trip to Libya in 1978, has been received by Tehran.
"Considering the sensitivity and importance Iran attaches to the issue of finding the whereabouts of Imam Mussa Sadr as well as the measures it has taken to achieve this end, the Libyan leader, in the message, outlined his country`s position and the measures it has taken on the issue," Asefi said, according to IRNA.
