Libyans continued to demonstrate in front of the French embassy in Tripoli on Monday to protest the French judiciary's decision to open an investigation into Libyan leader Moammer Kadhafi.

Protests have been held every day since the French court decided October 20 to investigate Kadhafi in connection with the downing of a French DC-10 of the UTA airline in 1989, which left 170 dead.

A tent has even been set up in front of the embassy to house Libyan protesters from different parts of the country.

The French embassy declined comment on the protest – TRIPOLI (AFP)
