List of new Palestinian government

The following is the final list of the new Palestinian government which includes six independent figures, one woman and one Christian. The list was published Monday in al Quds newspaper. This list has to be endorsed by the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas and then by the Palestinian Legislative Council. This process is not expected to happen before the end of this month.

Ismail Hanieh ( Gaza ) - Prime Minister

 

1- Dr. Mahmoud Zahhar ( Gaza ) - Minister for Foreign Affairs

2- Saeed Siam ( Gaza ) - Minister of Interior and Civil Affairs

3- Dr. Omar Abdul Razeq (Salfeet, West Bank) - Minister of Finance

4- Dr. Basem Naim ( Gaza ) - Minister of Health

5- Engineer Alaeddin al-A'raj ( Gaza ) - Minister of National Economy

6- Fakhri Turkman - Minister for Social Affairs

7- Naser Abdul Jawad ( West Bank ) - Minister for Prisoners Affairs

8- Dr. Naser Eddin al-Shaer ( Nablus ) - Deputy PM and Minister of Education and Higher Education.

9- Dr. Yousef Rizqa (al-Nuseirat, Gaza ) - Minister of Information.

10- Dr. Mariam Saleh (Ramallah, West Bank) - Minister of Women Affairs

11- Dr. Ahmad al-Khaldi (Nablus, West Bank) - Minister of Justice

12- Engineer Jamal al-Khudari ( Gaza ) - Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology.

13- Abdul Rahman Zeidan ( West Bank ) - Minister of Transport.

14- PM Ismail Hanieh ( Gaza ) - Minister of Youth and Sports.

15- Tannous Abu Eitah (Christian from Bethlehem, West Bank ) - Minister of Tourism.

16- Dr. Attallah Abul Sabeh (Rafah, Gaza ) - Minister of Culture

17- Engineer Ziad al-Thatha ( Gaza ) - Minister of Public Works

18- Nayef Rjoub (Hebron, West Bank) - Minister of Waqf

19- Samir Abu Eisheh - Minister of Planning

20- Dr. Mohammed Ramadan al-Agha (Khan Yunis, Gaza ) - Minister of Agriculture.

21- Engineer Khaled Abu Arafeh - Minister of Jerusalem Affairs

22- Issa al-Ja'bari - Minister of Local Governance.

23- Dr. Atef Udwan (Bet Hanoun, Gaza ) - Minister without portfolio.

24- Mohammed Awad - Chief of the Cabinet.
