Kempinski Hotel Ajman is calling all football fans to pick a team, find a seat, and enjoy the unbeatable atmosphere of a live crowd during the FIFA World Cup from June 11-July 11, with a month-long football fiesta at the specially-created World Cup Village, bringing together South African-inspired cuisine, musical entertainment, daily prize draws and virtual matches – and most importantly, live football action – broadcast from 16 giant screens set up at the World Cup Bar, Cosmic Bowling Centre and foyer of the hotel for the duration of the World Cup 2010. The football fever is bound to set in as the three venues get transformed with amazing arena energy into the World Cup Village at Kempinski Hotel Ajman for the month-long extravaganza.

The excitement will kick off on June 10 at 7 pm with a hearty South African BBQ fest for AED 99 plus taxes, and live music by the South African band Footprints to rev up the crowd in anticipation of the Opening Ceremony of the FIFA World Cup. Guests will be able to catch all their favourite stars including the Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys and Shakira as they work the crowd at the Kick-Off concert broadcast live from the historic Orlando Stadium in South Africa. From 10pm to midnight, special South African tapas will also be available as the opening ceremony unfolds onscreen, while cool cocktails and Budweiser buckets can be bought at the bar.

The fun will continue to flow all month long, with all three venues at the World Cup Village opening one hour prior to kick-off on all match days, for a minimum entry fee of AED 25, which includes one bottle of Budweiser or two soft drinks. Ticket sales will commence 60 minutes before the first game of the day until 10:30pm.

Guests at the World Cup Bar, Cosmic Bowling and the foyer venues at the Kempinski Hotel Ajman World Cup Village can enjoy live football action in all its big-screen glory, or play a few guessing games of their own, with special daily prize draws and a World Cup Championship draw prediction cards available on ordering a drink – letting you put that lucky hunch to good use by picking winning and losing teams and number of goals at each match, and for the big final. (Prediction for the World Cup Champion must be made before the 'Round of 16' stage.)

And the football frenzy does not have to stop between games or on non-match days – help your favourite team take home the coveted cup, albeit virtually, with the Playstation 3 Virtual FIFA Championship competition, running all through the World Cup.

The month-long celebrations at the World Cup Village promise to give you a taste of the action in a more literal sense as well, with a specially created menu serving up South African delicacies, BBQ favourites and authentic snacks from each competing country whenever they play a game.

The World Cup Village at Kempinski Hotel Ajman will open one hour before the first game starts until 2 am on all game days.
