Lufthansa Specials to more than 50 destinations worldwide - Attractive fares to long-haul destinations in Asia, America, Middle East and Africa

Lufthansa’s latest travel deals and lower fares are an enticement to explore foreign shores worldwide. Anyone who has yet to travel far afield this coming autumn or winter should take advantage of Lufthansa’s “Special” fares to more than 50 interesting and exciting long-haul destinations. A round-trip flight to the United States can be booked for as little as 399 euros, while return fares to Asia start at 549 euros. The Special fares are valid for an extra-long travel period throughout autumn and winter, from 20 October 2008 to 26 March 2009. However, for selected flight connections to India and the Middle East this travel period already starts 1 September. All the “Lufthansa Specials” will be offered from today, 20 August, until 30 September inclusive.

For a complete change of scenery, Asia’s great metropolises are also fascinating travel destinations. Fares to Mumbai (formerly Bombay) start at 549 euros. Flights to other Indian cities such as Delhi, Chennai (Madras) and Kolkata (Calcutta) are available for as little as 599 euros. And anyone who has watched the Olympic Games and wants to gain first hand impressions of China can now fly to Nanjing for a mere 589 euros, to Beijing for just 599 euros and to Shanghai for 639 euros.
